Lunar New Year Celebration

Celebrate Lunar New Year, the Year of the Fire Horse, with a special Lion Dance performance by the New York Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club, the oldest Chinese lion dance organization in New York City 501(c)(3).

From 12:30–5:00 PM, guests can stop by Center Court to enjoy FREE samples from Quickway Japanese Hibachi, featuring teriyaki chicken and California rolls.

Guests can also enjoy a FREE, all-day paper flower craft activity led by the Traditional Cultural Reviving Center, where all ages are invited to create a beautiful paper flower to take home.

The main celebration kicks off in Center Court at 3PM with a red envelope and fortune cookie giveaway featuring special prizes, while supplies last. The first 100 guests to visit the Green Acres red envelope and fortune cookie table at 3:00 PM will receive a FREE drink from Kung Fu Tea, one of Green Acres’ newest openings.

At 4:00 PM, experience the vibrant Lion Dance performance in Center Court, followed by a festive parade through the mall with stops at select favorite stores.

After the parade, return to Center Court around 4:45–5:00 PM for photos and to continue the celebration.
