School Cents
Your school is invited to apply for the School Cents program! Submit your application to be considered for the 2026-2027 school year program. Questions? Reach out to your Marketing Manager contact.
How It Works
Parents, teachers, and friends of your school submit receipts online to earn at least five points per dollar spent for all shopping, dining, service, or entertainment purchases. Bonus points are offered throughout the program to provide an added incentive. Receipts will be uploaded to the School Cents app launching this summer, which will automatically calculate the points totals per school.
The more points your school earns, the higher prize tier they will reach, and the higher donation they will receive at the end of the program.
School Responsibilities
- Designate a School Cents Coordinator for your school. This person should be an enthusiastic and committed parent or another volunteer. Your coordinator is responsible for distributing program information and building program recognition and participation for your school. Your School Cents Coordinator is the key to maximizing your school’s fundraising!
- Your School Cents Coordinator, or other representative from your school, must attend three program meetings. Meetings will take place at the beginning of the school year, early November before the holiday season, and in late January or early February 2027. At the meetings, your school will receive digital flyers with program information and bonus offers to distribute to school supporters. Details will be provided prior to program launch. The School Cents Awards check presentation is scheduled for April 2027.
- Your School Cents Coordinator must distribute program information provided via your school’s newsletters, email blasts, social media and other avenues available at your school to promote School Cents to your school’s families, staff and other supporters. (Samples will be provided.)
- Each participating school will receive $500 to $4,000. Based on the ranking of total accumulated points from program launch to March 31, 2027, each school receives a check:
- 1st Place: $4,000
- 2nd Place: $3,000
- 3rd Place: $2,000
- 4th Place: $1,500
- 5th Place: $1,000
- 6th Place: $900
- 7th Place: $800
- 8th place: $600
- 9th place: $500
- 10th place: $400
Schools that do not submit at least $500 in receipts by 2/1/2027 may be eliminated from the program. To help you meet this requirement, we will provide specific information about your school’s participation and offer suggestions about how to increase participation, if needed.
