Ready. Set. Green Acres.
Green Acres is changing the landscape of retail and bringing more fashion, food and fun to the community with its inspired 400K SF redevelopment project. Keep reading to learn more about this exciting new project.
Ready
Since acquiring the property in 2013, Macerich has a history of strategic investments in Green Acres. In 2016, Green Acres Commons opened on the site of a former movie theater, and is now home to BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Burlington, Ulta, 24 Hour Fitness, DICK’S Sporting Goods and more. Recently, we’ve welcomed Primark, Uniqlo, Hollister Co., Aldi, Panera Bread, Real Fruit Bubble Tea, Chipotle, and more.
But that was just the beginning.
Set
Now is time for the next evolution of Green Acres. A transformation is getting underway, renewing the property at every angle.
We’ll start by knocking down the former Sears and Auto Center to open up sightlines and build a striking new grand entrance for the northeast wing – complete with an attractive streetscape and outward-facing shops and restaurants. We’ll reimagine the former Kohl’s building and reconfigure adjacent retail. By the time we’re done, 300,000 square feet of new and exciting entertainment, dining, and retail brands will call Green Acres home.

Don’t just take our word for it. View the renderings and watch the video above for a sneak peek of what’s to come, and stay tuned as we announce new shopping, dining and entertainment in the near future.
